Thumbs are delicious!

This is the one and only time that she successfully sucked her thumb. Since then she has given up on the thumb and just shoves her whole fist in her mouth.

Visiting with Great Aunt Kay

Eric's mom and Aunt Kay stopped by for a visit in early September. We went to lunch and shopped for books at awesome Wild Rumpus.

Taking baths was seriously traumatic at first, but the little gal seems to enjoy them more and more as time goes on.

Mommy's Family

Baba, Deda, Meme and Uncle Peter all came to see the peanut when we got home from the hospital, and Baba was able to come up for another visit when Elia was 6 weeks.

Daddy's Family

We have been lucky to have Nana and Grandad in Wisconsin for the summer, and have spent a lot of time together. Nana was at the hospital when I was born, and Grandad got back from Spain when I was about 3 1/2 weeks old.

The little lady has been receiving visitors since her second day of life. We are lucky to have such great friends around to welcome her into the world.

Time at the Cabin

Elia got to spend some time at her grandparent's cabin in Wisconsin this summer, when she was 4 weeks and again when she was around 8 weeks. She rode on the pontoon, ate some good food and spent time with family.

Hanging out with Daddy

She was looking too cute the other night and talking with Papa, so of course out comes the camera. Her eyelashes are really growing and her facial expressions are hilarious.

Talking Baby

Our friends Brian and Emily bought Elia a Gloworm, and she LOVES it! She is really starting to "talk" a lot these days, and in particular she really likes chatting it up with the freaky Gloworm.

Baby's First Vacation

At 10 1/2 weeks of age Elia took her first trip to San Francisco to attend her teti Jennifer's wedding. She was a super trooper on the airplane and didn't cry at all at the wedding. She looked lovely in her white dress!
